What this opportunity is

AMBSO is an African research organisation that funds early-stage health research through the Impact Research Initiative. This is a seed and pilot award, not a conventional multi-year project grant.

The award is designed for work that generates the first credible evidence for an idea: a feasibility study, a pilot, a proof of concept or an emerging question that needs data before it can attract larger funding.
